Hoymiles HiBattery S – Expansion battery for the HiBattery 4020 X series
With the Hoymiles HiBattery S expansion battery, you can flexibly and needs-based expand the storage capacity of your Hoymiles energy storage system. This additional battery was specially developed for the new Hoymiles HiBattery 4020 X and allows for an easy expansion of available energy reserves for even higher self-consumption and greater independence from the grid.
Each HiBattery S storage unit provides an additional 4.02 kWh capacity and is directly integrated into the existing system. Thanks to its modular, stackable design, expansion is possible without extensive modifications or additional inverters. This way, your energy storage grows with your requirements – ideal for increasing electricity consumption due to a heat pump, electric vehicle, or additional household appliances.
The modern lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO4) ensures maximum safety, high cycle stability, and a particularly long service life. With over 8,000 charge cycles and an expected service life of up to 15 years, the HiBattery S is designed for long-term and reliable operation.
A special feature of the HiBattery series is the integrated DC/DC balancing system at the battery level. This allows new and existing battery modules to be automatically brought to the same state of charge. This significantly simplifies subsequent expansions and reduces pre-charging times when retrofitting additional storage modules.
Thanks to protection class IP66, intelligent battery heating, and extensive safety functions, the expansion battery is suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor use. The integrated battery management system continuously monitors all relevant operating parameters and ensures safe and efficient operation.
