Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max AC – Powerful AC Home Storage for Existing PV Systems

The Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max AC is an intelligent AC-coupled home storage system for retrofitting existing photovoltaic systems. With a storage capacity of 7 kWh, an AC charging and discharging power of up to 3,500 W, an integrated UPS emergency power function, and state-of-the-art LiFePO₄ battery technology, it increases your solar system's self-consumption and permanently reduces your electricity costs.

Thanks to its easy installation, the Solarbank Max AC can be easily integrated into existing PV systems – regardless of the inverter manufacturer. In conjunction with a compatible smart meter, the system automatically detects surplus solar energy and stores it for later use.

Ideal for retrofitting existing photovoltaic systems

The Solarbank Max AC was specially developed for households that already have a PV system and want to significantly increase their self-consumption. Since the system works AC-coupled, no changes to the existing PV system or inverter are required. Surplus solar power is automatically stored and fed back into the household grid when needed.

7 kWh storage capacity – flexibly expandable to up to 42 kWh

The basic unit already offers 7 kWh of storage capacity and is ideally suited for single-family homes with higher energy requirements. For even more reserves, the system can be expanded with up to five BP7000 expansion batteries to a total of 42 kWh, thus growing flexibly with your requirements.

Powerful AC operation

The Solarbank Max AC achieves a maximum AC charging and output power of up to 3,500 W. The integrated load connection even provides up to 3,680 W for supplying connected loads. If up to three devices are operated in parallel, a total output of 10.5 kW can be achieved.

Emergency power supply with uninterrupted switching

In the event of a power outage, the integrated UPS function takes over the supply of connected loads within approximately 10 milliseconds. The off-grid output delivers up to 3,680 W, so essential devices such as refrigerators, lighting, routers, or freezers can continue to operate reliably.

Intelligent energy management with Anker Intelligence™

The integrated energy management analyzes power consumption, solar yields, and – if available – dynamic electricity tariffs. The battery is automatically charged when electricity is particularly cheap and discharged during expensive tariff periods. This further increases self-consumption and economic efficiency.

Robust construction for year-round use

The high-quality LiFePO₄ battery achieves up to 10,000 charging cycles and is designed for a long service life. With IP66 protection class, C5-M corrosion protection, and an integrated battery heater for temperatures down to -20 °C, the Solarbank Max AC is ideal for permanent indoor and outdoor use.
